This is the MIA, the Missing Item Archive, a directory of all missing items and item glitches/errors currently known in Neopia. Feel free to browse around to gain some information about those weird things happening to you around the site.

Terminology
The following abbreviations, definitions and terminology will be used in this directory. These terms are commonly used in the item community on neopets.

I'm Announced, but Unobtainable!

Obtainable and Unobtainable Obtainable: The item can be found on Neopets. You can obtain it through regular means such as neopian shops, Shop Wizard or Trading Post, or in case of a non-tradable item you may be able to get it as a plot prize, for example. Unobtainable: You cannot get this item through any means. It is possible some people own this item, because they have obtained it through a glitch or error. It is not possible to get this item at the moment, even though it may have been posted on the news. Released/Announced and Unreleased/Unannounced Released/Announced: A released or announced item was announced in the Neopets news. Unreleased/Unannounced: An unreleased or unannounced item wasn't announced in the Neopets news. Searchable and Unsearchable Searchable: You are able to look this item up with the Shop Wizard, who will recognise your search query as being an actual item. Sometimes TNT forgets to activate the items, so they are not obtainable through regular means such as neopian shops or receivable from events/plots. Unsearchable: The Shop Wizard will not recognize your search query as being an actual item. This happens when the item has not been activated or when you don't know the proper name of the item.

Browsing the Missing Item Archive

How to Browse
There are various ways to browse this database, as there are a lot of different categories of glitches, errors and mistakes. Below is an overview of the different the different ways you can find what you're looking for.

Searching by Date With this selection, you can search the database by date. The items are categorised by year, unknown (when an item may/should have been in the Neopets News but we do not know the date) and unannounced (when an item was never in the Neopets News). Searching by MIA Category There are many different types of item glitches, errors and mistakes, so they have been categorised.

Active: Duplicate item: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they have a practically identical clone (either image or item name, or both) already in the game. Active: Glitched: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but they are glitched in some way (e.g. do not show up in your closet/neohome, or mess up your customisation). Active: Wrong information: These items are are currently active and obtainable on Neopets, but parts of the information are incorrect (usually the item name or description has a typo in it). Searchable: MIA: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game. Searchable: Unannounced: These items can be searched in the Shop Wizard or Super Shop Wizard, so they are active in the database, but cannot currently be obtained through any means. They were never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items. Unsearchable: MIA: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were, however, supposed to be obtainable in the game as they were announced in the news. Unsearchable: Unannounced: These items we have only found images for, but no names. They were also never announced in the news, so there is little chance they will actually become real items.

Searching for Fixed items This section displays all items that have been fixed since this archive was created (the archive started as a petpage long before it came on SunnyNeo). We believe some were fixed because of this archive. Displaying the Results The results can be displayed in two orders: By date, or by name. The handy buttons at the bottom of your selection can switch the listing between the two.

	Name: Crunchy Buzz Honey Delight Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information NT Editorial: #10801 Author Notes: The Crunchy Buzz Honey Delight started out as a sponsor item that was later changed to be a Cooking Pot item, yet it stayed restockable. Its rarity should be 101, when it is 80 at the moment.
	Name: Defenders Rake Alt Name: Defenders of Neopia Rake Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This rarity 101 rare item code item from the NC Mall Redemption cards was, together with two others, added as a restockable item. After this error was found, the other two were changed to rarity 101, but this item remained restockable. On top of that, another copy of this item was added correctly as rarity 101, but the restockable version (with exactly the same image) also exists. This was fixed incorrectly by changing all rarity 101 copies of this item into the restockable version, when it should have been the other way around. The rarity 101 version does remain active on Neopets.
	Name: Desert Lutari Morphing Potion Date: January 25th, 2012 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This potion has the wrong base colour, it is the same base colour as the Pirate Lutari, whereas the actual Desert Lutari colouring has a brown base. 	Name: Desert Meerca Cloak Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This item has two spaces in its name (between Meerca and Cloak), making it very hard to find in closets and in general.
	Name: Dyeworks Blue: Isca Wig- Blue Date: August 12th, 2014 Item Type: Special MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information NT Editorial: #12247 Author Notes: This item should not have the word blue after it since no other dyeworks items do.
	Name: Gooey Rotten Pumpkin Date: November 17th, 2006 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This item works in Neohomes 2.0, but does not have the Neohome 2.0 icon.
	Name: Nightclaw Date: May 23rd, 2006 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This Collectable Card was released to represent one of Neopia's famous villains, Nightclaw. Instead, it was forgotten and later overwritten by the Happiness Faerie Card.
	Name: Potato Counter Usuki Date: November 5th, 2015 Item Type: Usuki Doll MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This is actually a set and should include the word "set" at the end.
	Name: Purple Swirly Easter Negg Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This Negg has the wrong category, it should be Special, not Food. Either that, or all other Neggs (from the same set, at least) should also be made Food instead of kept Special.
	Name: Snot Dripping Stocking Alt Name: Snot-Dripping Mistletoe Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: There exists a Snot-Dripping item, and a Snot Dripping item. There's much discussion about which should be correct, but it should at least be consistent. Alt Image:
	Name: Snow Apple Date: March 8th, 2008 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: The categories for this item was changed from Snow Food to Food, when it had actually been correctly placed in Snow Food. After the change, it was made to restock in the Food Shop, and the other three items from the same series now restock in the Refreshment Stand.
	Name: Snow Enchiladas Date: March 8th, 2008 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: The categories for this item was changed from Snow Food to Food, when it had actually been correctly placed in Snow Food. After the change, it was made to restock in the Refreshment Stand.

	Name: Summery Polkadot Shirt Date: June 25th, 2011 MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: In this item's name, Polka Dot is misspelled as Polkadot.
	Name: Terror Mountain Snowy Path Background Date: Unknown MIA Category: Active: Wrong Information Author Notes: This background currently falls under the "Gift" category of the Safety Deposit Box labelled search, while it should appear in the "Special" label, together with all the other Mystical Surroundings backgrounds.
